President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Youth Industrial and Entrepreneurial Zone in the town of Margilan.

The industrial zone is organized at the Navruz Makhalla (the local residential community area), previously disused, but convenient place in terms of communication and logistics.

On the territory of the zone with the an area of 7 hectares, 28 projects of the textile, leather and footwear, furniture and food industry are located. Today 12 of them have started the production. More than a 1000 working places will be created at all enterprises. 

The President has had a conversation with women working at one of the enterprises.

«We are focusing on caring for women to exalt the honor and dignity of a person in our efforts. A woman is a family, well-balanced children. Why did we create «a women’s book»? The reason is to accord attention to every woman who needs support.  Some of you may have thought you could not make it. In reality, you did it. We will continue to do everything possible so that you have such confidence that our girls acquire professions», - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It was instructed to create such industrial zones in remote areas, attract young people there, train and support their business.

The President also got acquainted with the activities of the limited liability company «Agro impex valley» in the Tashlaq District.

The enterprise for more than 100 billion Uzbek soums was launched in 2020. It produces the ready-made clothes under the brand name «Amira textile». Among the products - the upper part of summer shoes.

The President has examined samples of industrial and handicraft products produced in the Tashlaq District.
