On April 14, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.
The Leader of Uzbekistan has sincerely congratulated the Head of the government of Hungary on the victory of the Party coalition «Fidesz» – the Christian Democratic People’s Party in the last parliamentary elections in this country.
The sides have also shared their congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The issues on further strengthening the strategic partnership as well as the implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the Hungarian Prime Minister to Uzbekistan in March last year were thoroughly discussed.
The main attention was paid to the practical realization of cooperation projects in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, cattle breeding, food industry, the branch of construction materials, as well as the extension of the mutually beneficial cooperation in the banking and financial sector.
The sides have also exchanged views on the current international and regional issues. The schedule of forthcoming events at the top level was considered.
The conversation took place in a traditionally warm and friendly atmosphere.
