A signing ceremony and exchange of documents took place following the negotiations at the highest level.
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a Joint Statement following the Second Meeting of the Top-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
In addition, nine documents were signed at the level of governments, ministries and departments of the two countries, providing for further expansion of the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
The documents include:
– The Agreement on Preferential Trade;
– The Protocol on the advance exchange of information on the movement of goods and vehicles across state borders;
– A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in labor and employment;
– A Memorandum of Cooperation in the forensic examination;
– A Memorandum of Understanding in construction;
– An Action Plan for 2022-2023 between Ministries of Health;
– The Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan National News Agency and the «Anadolu» Agency of Turkey and others.
