President Arrives in Islamabad

On March 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Islamabad on a state visit.

At the capital airport, the Prime Minister of the Republic Imran Khan met the President of Uzbekistan.

The top-level talks will be held today. The agenda includes the issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Pakistani relations of strategic partnership. A special attention will be paid to the development of practical interaction, primarily in the trade, investment, industrial cooperation, transportation, logistics, infrastructure and tourism. The leaders will exchange views on the international and regional agenda.

On the outcomes of the summit, it is expected to adopt a joint declaration and a number of bilateral documents.

On the second day of the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold meetings with the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and the heads of leading companies of this country.
