A project for the construction of roadside service facilities along the Tashkent ring road was presented to the President.
Such complexes have proven themselves all over the world. The project presented to the President provides for the creation of convenience stores, general food outlets and household services. The cargo containers are used to reduce the cost and accelerate construction.
It is set to allocate seven hectares of land for the project. The sites will be sold to entrepreneurs through an online auction. It is planned to create more than 500 jobs.
The President has also inspected one of the electric buses travelling around Tashkent. The instructions are given on the development of the «green» transport, the designing further stages of the subway and the laying of tram tracks.
