On January 27 the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part at the first India-Central Asia Summit via videoconferencing.
In line with the agenda of the top-level meeting, organized at the initiative of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, the issues of further expansion of multilateral relations, strengthening interregional interconnectedness, as well as ensuring stability and sustainable development in the region will be considered.
A particular attention will be paid to the promotion of practical cooperation in the trade, industrial cooperation, green economy, innovation and digital technologies, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
On the outcomes of the summit, the adoption of the Delhi Declaration is envisaged aimed at strengthening the relations of friendship and long-term partnership in priority areas.
