On December 16-18, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to South Korea.

According to the program of stay in Seoul, the top-level meetings and talks will be held. The ways to further strengthen the Uzbek-Korean relations of friendship and special strategic partnership, expansion of multifaceted cooperation will be considered during these events.

A special attention will be paid to the promotion of practical cooperation programs and projects, primarily in the «green» economy, digitalization, innovation and high technology, education, healthcare and other priority areas.

The President will also meet with the leaders of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, representatives of major Korean companies and banking and financial institutions.

On the outcomes of the visit, it is expected to sign a sizeable package of bilateral documents.
