President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the state specialized general education school of specialized labor training in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of the capital.

The educational institution, built in 1976, is designed for 1,178 students. However, the current number of students is much more than the capacity of the school. Moreover, its building and equipment are outdated.

The President inspected the classrooms, the gym and the canteen. The instructions were given on the construction of a new school building, vocational training for students, and organization of practical classes at enterprises.

«These days, modern enterprises are opening everywhere, the investment projects are being implemented. We need personnel with a big potential. Therefore, we are paying a special attention to teachers and schools, to improve the quality of education. The good personnel creates competition. And where there is competition, there is development», said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Here the President talked to the mass media.

It was spoken about a high priority of the ongoing work on the development of healthcare and school education, the essence and substance of the activities of assistant khokims (governors). It was also noted that over time they will turn into personnel who, from their own experience, know the problems on the ground and, thus, form a solid personnel reserve.
