The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Asqar Mamin, visited the Digital Government Office located at the EXPO Business Centre in Nur-Sultan.
The office was opened in September this year and includes the National Analytical Center, the Digital Transformation Center and the National Project Office.
The President of was also informed about the opportunities offered by the Situation Center. The Center will have access to all databases and will work closely with the regions, which will make it possible to see the real situation online, for example the rate of vaccination growth in the country.
The capabilities of the analytical platform on the internal and external trade were demonstrated. The platform can be used to monitor food prices online and generate cost forecasts. In addition, the projects in innovation and the aerospace industry will be launched on the basis of the office.
The Office member has emphasized the work being carried out in Uzbekistan to develop human capital, create IT parks, train programmers, and digitalize the public services sector, mentioned that Kazakhstan is also following this path.
The President has highlighted the importance of exchanging experiences in these areas, widely introducing the artificial intelligence technologies in public services, analyzing the socio-economic processes and developing solutions to make life more comfortable.
By this, the state visit of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan came to an end.
