On December 5 President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, arrived on a state visit in Nur-Sultan, the capital of city Kazakhstan,

A guard of honor was formed at the Nur-Sultan Nazarbayev International Airport in honor of the distinguished guest.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met the President of Uzbekistan. A brief conversation of the leaders took place.

The main events of the visit will be held on December 6. During the top-level talks, the issues of strengthening the political dialogue, development of trade, economic, transport and logistics cooperation, expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchanges will be discussed. The leaders will also exchange views on the regional and international policy issues.

On the outcomes of the negotiations, more than 20 documents are expected to be signed.
