On December 2, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The President has warmly congratulated the Crown Prince, the leadership and the friendly people of the Emirates on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the state, sincerely wishing peace, well-being, further progress and prosperity.

The high achievements of the UAE in the state building and economic development, which received the wide international recognition and were once again demonstrated at the World Expo held in Dubai, were emphasized.

During the conversation, the topical issues in the agenda of the Uzbek-Emirati multifaceted cooperation were considered.

The productive practical interactions and successful promotion of joint projects in the alternative energy, industry, agriculture, infrastructure modernization, management training and other priority areas with the participation of high-profile organizations, companies and financial institutions of the Emirates were noted with satisfaction.

The importance of continuing an active dialogue and exchanges in order to identify new «breakthrough» areas and long-term partnership programs was underscored.

The Crown Prince has reaffirmed the commitment of the Emirati side to further strengthening the traditionally friendly and close bilateral relations, and also spoke in favor of continuing full-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE.

The telephone conversation between the Leaders of the two countries took place in a friendly, trustworthy and constructive atmosphere.
