President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Real Tex Tashkent limited liability company in the Shaykhantakhur Region.

The enterprise with a design cost of $50 million was put into operation in May this year. Modern equipment has been installed, the production of yarn, fabrics and finished textiles, dyeing and patterning have been established. Over the past short period, products for 390 billion soums were produced and goods for 19 million dollars were exported.

The enterprise is capable of producing 22 thousand tons of yarn and about 6 million linear meters of fabric per year. 1800 people work here.

The President inspected the products of the enterprise. He gave instructions to responsible officials on mastering the next stages of processing, expanding the range and geography of product exports.

A meeting was also held here with the participation of khokims (governors and mayors), heads of sectors, chairmen of makhallas (the local neighborhood community area) of the city of Tashkent and districts of the capital. At the meeting, a special attention was paid to the organization at makhallas of the activities of assistant khokims of districts and assistants to the khokim of the city of Tashkent – the youth leaders.

«There is no such experience anywhere in the world. For this task, first of all, it is necessary to be selfless, to love the people. Those who will work in these two positions will become the foundation of reforms at the makhalla. They will implement the state policy to develop entrepreneurship, reduce unemployment and support youth. This is a great responsibility and a high honor»,- the President said.

The newly appointed assistants to the khokimz and youth leaders of the Shaykhantakhur District spoke about the problems at the makhallas and expressed their views on their solution. The President supported their proposals and gave appropriate instructions to the officials.
