On October 25, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

The President of Belarus has warmly congratulated the leader of Uzbekistan on his resounding victory in the presidential elections and sincerely wished success in the implementation of the set plans, as well as a well-being and prosperity to the friendly people of Uzbekistan.

The issues of bilateral cooperation were considered. The leaders were pleased to note the dynamic development of trade relations and the expansion of cooperation between the leading enterprises, intensification of cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

The Presidents supported the continuation of close cooperation in the framework of regional organizations, including the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Union.
