On October 25, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov had a telephone conversation.

The leader of Kyrgyzstan has sincerely congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on the successful conduct and resounding victory in the presidential elections in the country and expressed the wishes for peace, prosperity and progress to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.

The Presidents discussed the implementation of joint cooperation projects in the trade, economic, investment, transport, communications and humanitarian spheres.

The issues on the regional agenda were also considered.
