The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. 

The President of Kazakhstan has warmly congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his bright victory in the last presidential elections and wished sustainable development and prosperity to the fraternal Uzbek people. He has invited our President to pay a visit to Nur-Sultan.

The issues of further strengthening the bilateral relations of strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the economic sphere, were considered. The Presidents were pleased to note dynamics of the development of trade and cooperation ties between the leading enterprises and companies of our countries.

There was also an exchange of views on the topical issues of the regional agenda.
