The educational institutions of a completely new type have been created in our country – the Presidential Schools. This year, such a school was opened in the city of Karshi.

During a trip to Kashkadarya Region, the President got acquainted with this educational institution.

The school building for 168 students and the dormitory were built according to the standards set for Presidential Schools. The most modern conditions have been created in classes, laboratories and gyms.

This year, more than 10,000 students applied for admission to the school, 144 of them passed the competition. The educational process is carried out in English according to plans and programs developed on the basis of the expertise of developed countries. The top-level teachers were involved, including 10 foreign specialists. A teacher’s hotel which can accomodate 15 people was also constructed.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked with students.

“This is your first big victory in life. I congratulate you on this success and express my gratitude to your parents. You are laying the foundation for your future. There are the conditions to make the most of your time. Today’s success is already a history. Learn more, don’t stop exploring the new things. In the future, you will become a worthy children of the new Uzbekistan. I believe in it,” - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The necessity of establishing an exchange of expertise between the Presidential School and other schools of the region, updating on this basis the methodology of teaching the exact sciences was indicated.
