President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Doniyor Yuldashev’s house, a resident of Shirin makhalla (the local neighborhood community area) in Syrdarya District, and talked with family members.
The family grows fruit and ornamental trees, vegetables, as well as keeps 30 purebred turkeys and from this earns up to 25 million Uzbek soums of additional income per year in their yard with an area of 10 ares.
The President has highly appreciated the household farm and noted that there should be as many such bettered house-yards as possible throughout the country.
«The purpose of my trips to the regions, my daily efforts are to make life happy for people, to achieve an increase in per capita incomes. Previously, we sold raw materials abroad. Now we are processing it at home, producing finished products. The companies are opening, as well as our young people and women are getting jobs. The development must take place primarily at a makhalla to expand this phenomenon. If a makhalla is flourishing, then a state will be strong. If we bring up a youth as educated people, they will be able to find their way, their business», - Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
A dua (supplication) was recited with wishes of peace and prosperity to the country.
