On September 20 President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of projects for the construction of educational, cultural and healthcare infrastructure.

By the decree of the President of June 23 this year, the New Uzbekistan University was founded. The document provides for the construction of a modern university campus.

For this, a relevant project was developed together with the Turkish architects.

The information on the main aspects of the project, the conditions that will be created in the future campus were presented in the event.

In the presentation, the project of the building of the new library was also reviewed. A new center of enlightenment will be built on the territory of the National Park of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoiy. Its look is inspired by historical monuments in our country. All conditions are provided for storing a large book fund, literacy and cultural recreation, and various events.

On May 14 this year President visited the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology. Having familiarized himself with its terms, the President set the task of constructing a new building for the center. A land plot has been allocated for the center on the territory of the clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

The project of the new Oncological Center was developed taking into account the best practices of foreign medical institutions, all conditions for doctors and patients are provided.

The first floor of the future ten-story building will be housed with consultative polyclinic and admitting area. The upper floors will be accommodated with the medical departments, a 650-bed hospital and a 100-bed outpatient clinic. Also, conditions will be created for the activities of the departments of the Tashkent Medical Academy and the Tashkent institute for advanced studies of doctors, masters and residency programs.

The three-story underground part of the building will be housed with the departments of radiology and radiation therapy, diagnostics with modern equipment for computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, digital X-rays and others.

President gave instructions on the implementation of projects using the international standards, ensuring high-quality construction and training technical personnel for building maintenance.
