On August 30 the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

At the beginning of the conversation, the leader of Belarus has sincerely congratulated the President and the multinational people of Uzbekistan on the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.

In turn, the President has cordially congratulated the President of Belarus on his birthday, wishing him a sound health, well-being and great success.

The topical issues of further development of the Uzbek-Belarusian multifaceted cooperation were discussed. The high indicators of the dynamics of trade turnover, successful examples of cooperation between the leading enterprises and companies, as well as the educational institutions of the two countries were noted with satisfaction.

The schedule of upcoming events at the highest level was considered, including the preparation for the CIS Summit chaired by the Belarusian side.
