President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on August 13 became acquainted with the creative work carried out at the site of construction of the «New Uzbekistan» Park.

The ornamental trees and flowers are being planted in the park and the green areas are being created. A 5,000-seat amphitheater is being established for the festivities.

The President was briefed on the amenities to be organized here. 

The core structures of the «Istiklol» Complex have been installed, construction and finishing work is underway. It will feature a 3,000-year history of Uzbekistan, the great heritage of our ancestors and the national values of our people.

The President examined the sketches of bas reliefs and the design elements of the complex, gave recommendations to the responsible officials and constructors.
