President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the joint venture «Jurabek laboratories» in the city of Almalyk.
The industrial capacity of the enterprise is 48 million vials of infusion solutions, 480 million ampoules, 60 million dried antibiotics and 20 million lyophilized medicines.
The GLP laboratory operates here. The international GMP standard has been introduced.
The company has registered more than 300 products. It exports the production to more than 15 countries.
It also produces such demanded medicines in the current pandemic conditions as remdesivir, favipiravir, heparin and enoxaparin.
The implementation of a new biotechnological project for $30 million has begun. The project is aimed at organizing the production of medicines in the form of monoclonal antibodies.
It is also envisioned to establish the production of the coronavirus vaccine. The President has learnt about the necessary technical capabilities of the enterprise.
