On July 24 the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had telephone conversations with the leaders of a number of foreign countries.
In particular, the conversations were held with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
The leaders of these states warmly congratulated our President on his birthday, expressing sincere wishes for peace, well-being and prosperity to the multinational people of Uzbekistan.
The achievements of Uzbekistan in the implementation of the new program of socio-economic reforms and democratic transformations, its strengthening authority in the international arena were particularly noted.
The productive results of the International Conference on the Development of the Connectivity of Central and South Asia, successfully held last week in Tashkent, were highly appreciated.
The sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda, including the current situation in the Afghan direction.
The Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Shavkat Mirziyoyev is greatly respected by compatriots and high international authority as a prominent statesman, the real leader of his country.
He has noted personal contribution of our President to the development of relations of strategic partnership and alliance between our countries, productive bilateral cooperation in various areas. The leaders expressed their confidence in ensuring further expansion of the entire complex of the Russian-Uzbek relations by the means of joint efforts.
During the telephone conversation, the topical issues of Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic cooperation and alliance were discussed. They touched upon the schedule of events at the highest level.
The observed dynamics of the development of multifaceted cooperation between the countries, especially the steady growth of mutual trade, the successful implementation of joint collaboration projects in the economic sectors, cultural and humanitarian exchange programs, were noted with satisfaction. The importance of an early launch of joint production of coronavirus vaccines in Uzbekistan was emphasized.
During the conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a thorough exchange of views on topical issues on the bilateral agenda took place.
It was especially noted that Turkey is pleased to see and support Uzbekistan’s leading role in the region, which is strengthening under the firm leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
«I consider the sincere friendship between Your Excellency and me one of the symbols of centuries-old brotherly ties between our countries and peoples», the leader of Turkey emphasized.
The active mutual contacts and exchanges of recent years, which contribute to the dynamic development of Uzbek-Turkish multifaceted cooperation, have been noted with pleasure. Despite the consequences of the pandemic, since the beginning of this year, trade has almost doubled, more than 230 new joint ventures have been created, important cultural and humanitarian programs are being implemented.
The Presidents considered the schedule of upcoming events and highlighted the importance of careful preparation for the holding of the second meeting of the Council of Strategic Cooperation of the highest level in our country by the end of this year.
The topical issues of further development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and full-scale cooperation were discussed with the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. The importance of future implementation of joint projects and programs in priority areas of interaction was stressed.
Elbasy has emphasized that the diligent work and great political experience of President Mirziyoyev contribute to the further prosperity of Uzbekistan, as well as to increasing its authority in the international arena.
It was underscored that today Uzbekistan is scaling great heights to consolidate and strengthen its statehood and improve the well-being of its people. In this regard, Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed confidence that our country will continue to develop rapidly and achieve wide goals under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In a conversation with the Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matviyenko the issues of further development and strengthening of the Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance were discussed. The active inter-parliamentary exchanges, which contribute to the promotion of joint projects of multifaceted collaboration between our countries were noted with satisfaction.
The importance of continuing a close and constructive dialogue in the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly was noted.
V.Matviyenko noted that a balanced approach to decision-making and the implementation of effective state policy have earned President Shavkat Mirziyoyev well-deserved respect in Uzbekistan and abroad.

The leader of Turkmenistan emphasized that the modern history of Uzbekistan, marked by successes in the political, socio-economic development of the country, as well as the growth of its authority in the international arena, inseparably associated with the name of Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
«You have fully devoted yourself to protecting the interests of your native people, implementing national goals and programs. This devoted service to the Motherland is worthy of high appreciation», - said the President of Turkmenistan.
The dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation between our countries, primarily in trade and economic, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres, was noted with delight. The Presidents reached an agreement to hold a regular meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
The Presidents have also dwelt on the preparation for the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Central Asian Region, which will take place on August 6 this year in the National Tourist Zone «Avaza». The exchange of views on the agenda and the program of the upcoming event took place.
In a telephone conversation with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Presidents noted the importance of further building up a multifaceted cooperation and strengthening strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, primarily filling them with new projects and programs.
It was highlighted that tireless service to the interests of the state and people, political wisdom and will rightfully earned the President of our country indisputable authority among compatriots and high respect in the world community.
The leader of Kazakhstan has noted that today, under the strong leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan is successfully continuing the course for large-scale political and socio-economic transformations aimed at ensuring sustainable development and progress of the country, improving the well-being of Uzbekistanis, strengthening the image of Tashkent in the international arena.
The timetable for the preparation of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events at the highest level, including the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in early August in Turkmenistan, was also considered.
In a conversation with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, issues of practical implementation of the arrangements and agreements adopted following the results of the official visit at the highest level to the Republic of Tajikistan on June 10-11 this year were considered.
The leader of Tajikistan noted that the head of our state, being in a high position of President of brotherly Uzbekistan, makes an invaluable contribution to ensuring the stable political, economic and social development of the country, as well as consolidating its international authority, which is an example of selfless service to the lofty ideals of the prosperity of his Motherland.

The preparations for holding the next Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the region at the beginning of next month in Turkmenistan and the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in September this year in Tajikistan were discussed.
President Sadyr Japarov noted that under the wise and far-sighted leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, population’s living standards have increased, the country’s economy has embarked on a path of further development.
It was stressed that owing to the tireless work of the leader of our country, Uzbekistan is strengthening its authority at the international level, intensifying close cooperation.
The head of Kyrgyzstan has highly appreciated the personal contribution of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to building up regional cooperation of the Central Asian countries.
During the conversation, the importance of the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the Uzbek-Kyrgyz summit at the highest level on March 11-12 this year in the city of Tashkent was noted. A particular attention is paid on a speedy promotion of joint projects in energy sector, transport, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals and other industries.

In his congratulatory telegram, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping was delighted to note that in recent years, under the leadership of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reforms in all areas have been comprehensively promoted in Uzbekistan; the construction of a new Uzbekistan is flourishing.
The Chinese leader noted that he attaches great importance to the development of Chinese-Uzbek relations and is ready to work hard with the President of Uzbekistan to promote Chinese-Uzbek relations to a higher level for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
In his message, the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in was pleased to highlight the steady implementation of the agreements reached during the online summit in January this year.
«Our countries continue to develop relations of special strategic partnership, and also join together with the will of the international community aimed at inclusive green recovery and achieving carbon neutrality», - says his message in particular.
