As a part of the International Conference in Tashkent, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Abul Kalam Abdul Momen.

An exchange of views on the development of bilateral cooperation and the regional agenda took place.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs extended to our President the sincere greetings of the President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid and the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed.

The resolute support for the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan to develop the interconnectedness of the regions of Central and South Asia was confirmed.

A particular attention was attached to enhancing the practical cooperation by fostering exchanges, promoting joint projects and programs in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
