The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov, who is heading the delegation of Kyrgyzstan at the International Conference in Tashkent.

An exchange of views on issues of the bilateral agenda and regional cooperation took place.

Akylbek Japarov conveyed to the Leader of Uzbekistan sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.

The issues of practical implementation of the arrangements and agreements adopted during the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Summit at the top-level were discussed. The Uzbek-Kyrgyz Summit was held in March this year.

The importance of the early promotion of priority cooperation projects in the fields of industry, energy, agriculture, transport and logistics, organization of the activities of a joint investment company was emphasized.
