Following the negotiations, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Prime Minister Imran Khan signed a Joint Declaration on the establishment of the strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
An exchange of 8 documents signed during the visit took place. The Intergovernmental Agreements on transit, trade and simplification of Visa procedures for the representatives of business and tourist groups are important among them.
The Protocol on cooperation in the area of military education between the Ministries of Defense of both countries, the Program of Cultural exchanges for 2021-2026 years, the Memorandum of Understanding on tourism, the Protocol on the exchange of preliminary information on goods and transports, which are crossing the state border, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of World economy and Diplomacy and Pakistan Academy of Diplomatic services, the agreement on establishment of the Uzbek-Pakistani business council were also signed.
It was noted that following the results of the meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Uzbek-Pakistani Business Forum held in the framework of the visit, agreements worth $500 million were signed.
