On July 13, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation on the implementation of the digital technologies.
The work on the introduction of information technologies is gaining momentum in our country, which increases the convenience of the people’s lives. Today, 253 types of services are provided through the Single Portal of interactive state services. This year, it is planned to introduce another 60 and simplify the provision of more than 50 services.
Most importantly, these measures help to reduce the amount of paperwork, eliminate the bureaucracy and corruption, save time and money for users, and increase the efficiency of activities.
The Strategy «The digital Uzbekistan – 2030» was approved by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from October 5, 2020.According to this strategy the programs for the digital transformation regions and industries for 2020-2022 years are being implemented. In particular, 443 projects have been developed by industry, of which 194 have been implemented to date. 1172 out of 1643 projects which were provided by the regional programs, have been implemented.
As an example, the introduction of an information management system for contracts in «Uztransgaz» JSC was reduced the expenses by 30 billion Uzbek soums. The implementation of system for paying 360 types of the state duties through the single billing was allowed to save 24 billion Uzbek soums.
In general, according to the results of the first half of this year, the volume of services in the field of the digital economy has been amounted to 7 trillion 200 billion Uzbek soums, the export of the computer program services have been amounted to 17 million 500 thousand US dollars.
However, there are the industries and regions where this work is being proceeding at a slow pace. The corresponding rating shows that the digitalization process is not organized at the proper level in 65 organizations, 116 districts and cities.
At the presentation, the President gave the necessary instructions to accelerate the projects and expand the electronic services.
«The work, which has been done in recent years, has really yielded the results and the services have become more convenient and closer to the people. However, the digital technologies are changing every day, the new opportunities are opening up. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a «road map» for the introduction of new software products in each ministry» Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
It was identified that there were opportunities to bring the volume of services of the digital economy to 16 trillion Uzbek soums, and the export of computer software to 40 million dollars.
The necessity was noted to increase the types of public services which are provided through the mobile application to 100, including through the introduction of services for obtaining information about the municipal, cadastral, tax, customs spheres, pension provision and labor relations.
Responsible executives were instructed to create portals of ministers, khokims (governor, mayor) of regions, districts and cities and regularly analyze the information which are posted on them.
The joint-stock commercial bank «Alokabank» was set the task to create a single platform for the client services, to provide the financial support to startup-projects in the area of the information technology.
The instructions were given to improve the digital literacy of the employees of public and economic administration bodies.
