On June 11, on the second day of his official visit to Tajikistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived from Dushanbe in Khujand.

Here the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met the distinguished guest.

Khujand was thoroughly prepared for the arrival of our President. The numerous members of the public were also glad to greet the President of our country at the airport and on the streets of the city, decorated with the flags of the two countries.

The Leaders had a short meeting and together headed towards the Arbob Cultural Palace near Khujand.
