The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President has sincerely congratulated President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday, wishing him a sound health, prosperity and success.

The great contribution of the leader of Kazakhstan to the strengthening of centuries-long friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries was noted.

It was emphasized that regular and trusting contacts at the highest level contribute to maintaining the high dynamics of the multifaceted Uzbek-Kazakh relations.

During the conversation, the relevant issues of the bilateral and regional agenda were considered. They expressed confidence that the practical implementation of the previously reached agreements will serve to further expand the cooperation in all priority areas.
