President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the life of Tepakurgon makhalla (the local neighborhood community area) of Uchtepa District of Tashkent.
In the Address to the Oliy Majlis (the national parliament) the President noted that the importance of the implementation of the reforms, organizing work in the context of makhallas.
The officials are tasked with studying the situation, locating the «points of growth» and using them, above all, in makhallas.
Tepakurgon makhalla was arranged well according to the same principle. There are 30 multi-storey houses on its territory and 6,150 people residents. There are two pre-school educational institutions to accommodate 100 children and one specialized boarding school. The children’s playgrounds have been equipped and the conditions for sports have been created.
The makhalla’s youth and women work in 40 small business entities. Recently, another production facility - the «Euroasia print» Printing House was built and it created over 60 jobs. Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the work of the enterprise.
A presentation of plans for the development and increasing jobs in the serviceы sector in the city of Tashkent was also held.
In a conversation with the residents of the makhalla, the representatives of the older generation told that they fasted in the month of Ramadan with feeling of gratitude and prayed for peace and prosperity in our country.
«It is this feeling of gratitude, understanding that prosperity comes with honest labor, we need to impart to our people, the youth. You have seen this by the example of your makhalla yourself. As you can see, anything is possible if you try. The soundest basis for such transformations is peace and tranquility in our country. We need to appreciate this, to make each makhalla as beautiful and neat as this one. The satisfaction of the people is achieved not with pompous words, but with work», said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The President also got acquainted with the activities of the Center for teaching foreign languages.
