The President visited the new enterprises put into operation in the Technopark of the city of Tashkent.

It houses 17 projects worth more than $365 million, six of which were launched last year. At the beginning of this year, the construction and installation work was completed at four more enterprises. The test production is currently underway.

The President got acquainted with the technologies introduced at these enterprises and the products they produce.

«Certainly, these enterprises are of great economic importance. However, what pleases me the most is the qualifications and confidence of our youth. There were no such machines, when today’s youth were just studying. If we started this work 15 years ago, the level of education of our children today would be completely different», said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The cost of the project for the production of fittings and accessories is $20 million. The enterprise is fitted with modern equipment from Turkey. 450 jobs have been created. The production capacity of the company is 6 million units of fittings and accessories for doors and frames per year. This will provide the import substitution of $3 million and export opportunities for $3 million.

Another company produces the panel-heating radiators in 5 different modifications. The project cost more than $19 million. The enterprise is capable of producing 640 thousand radiators per year by a European technology. They are in demand both in the domestic market and abroad. As a result, it is envisaged to replace imports by $6 million and export products for more than $8 million. It employs 250 people.

The aluminum composite panel enterprise is also profitable. With capacity of 432 thousand units per year, it will replace $10 million in imports and provide $3 million in exports. The Chinese equipment worth $2 million has been installed. 80 jobs have been created.

The cost of the project for the production of metal structures is $29 million. The declared import substitution is $16 million. The exports are also planned for $1,5 million. The company is equipped with Italian technology and produces 3 types of sandwich panels and 2 types of metal structures. It employs 350 people.

The level of localization at new enterprises is 35-40%.

After the launch of all projects in the Technopark, the products for  5,7 trillion Uzbek soums will be produced by the end of this year, and the goods for $105 million will be exported. It is planned to provide jobs for about 7 thousand people.
