President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Hero of Uzbekistan, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (the national parliament), Khasan Normurodov, who is being treated in the Samarkand branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.

A selfless participant in public activities for many years, he served in the public education system. Later, as a chairperson of the Samarkand Regional Branch of the «Nuroniy» Fund, he made a significant contribution to the social protection of veterans.  Currently, he is the Deputy Head of the Samarkand Regional Department for Support of the Makhalla and Family.

The residents of the region respect Khasan Normurodov, who turned 82 years old, as a kind-hearted person and an active participant in the veterans community. In 2019, by a Presidential Resolution, he was awarded the title Hero of Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished a labor veteran a speedy recovery, vigilance of spirit and long years of life.

Khasan Normuradov thanked the President for the attention and support.
