After the festive event of Navruz, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in folk festivities. The President talked with people that came to sayil (folk festivities) and congratulated them on the holiday.
The representatives of the older generation made dua (supplication) and asked the Almighty to send down bountiful harvests, prosperity and abundance on our people, as well as wished to welcome Navruz in peace and prosperity next year.
The President watched the performances of groups of national cultural centers, folklore and ethnographic ensembles. He has advised young performers to learn new things all the time and wished them successes.
The folk festivities on the celebration of Navruz continue in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the regions, in villages and makhallas (the residential community areas).
