President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the constructive work carried out in the town of Nurafshan.

As it is well-known, in 2017 the administrative center of the Tashkent Region was moved to the town of Nurafshan. Visiting the town in 2019, the President instructed on the construction of modern facilities here.

Today the work done since the last visit was reviewed. The President was informed about the construction work accomplished in line with the Nurafshan general layout.

To date, the Tashkent road has been expanded and 42 sites have been built along it. Today the constructive work consistently continues. In place of the old one-storey buildings, seven- and nine-storey buildings, administrative buildings, business centers, hotels, medical and educational institutions and hypermarkets are being erected.

A presentation was made on the measures to develop the culture, education and healthcare spheres in the Tashkent Region.

The President noted that along with the construction of schools and kindergartens, it is necessary to enrich the content of education and to move from numbers to quality. He has instructed on the establishment of a modern hospital in a place convenient for the population and making it a clinical base for the training of qualified specialists.
