During his visit to Chirchik, the President arrived at the Iftikhor makhalla (the residential community area), where he spoke with residents of apartment buildings.
«Chirchik was once a famous town. Figuratively speaking, it has tired lately. It is a high time to create all the conditions here. We are starting a lot of work to boost industry, create new jobs, improve roads and heat supply», - said the President.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev asked about the problems in makhallas, the demands and concerns of residents. I instructed the khokim (mayor) of the town to allocate land to a young man who desired to start his own business. The President took a picture with a boy who dreamed of meeting with him.
The President also visited the neighboring Lola makhalla, where he visited the house of a socially vulnerable family.
Walking along the makhalla, the President had a sincere conversation with representatives of the older generation, who expressed their positive views on the peace and tranquility reigning in our country, as well as the changes taking place in Chirchik.
