President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of projects on improving the road transport system and the construction of new roads in Tashkent.

The number of cars in the capital is growing. Certain routes and traffic control elements cause inconveniences for drivers and passengers. For this, congestion occur on major streets and crossroads.  

Relevant solutions have been developed to deal with this issue and enhance the comfort. In particular, it is planned to organize a turning along Mustakillik street opposite the khokimiyat (governor’s office) of Mirzo-Ulugbek District, a turn from Parkent street to Mustakillik street, as well as an exit from Small Ring Road to Parkent street.

During the presentation, the President instructed the Ministries of Transport and Internal Affairs, and also the khokimiyat of Tashkent to organize additional passages on more than 10 streets of the city in a short time.
