President has examined the conditions in the Dashtbog makhalla (local residential neighborhood area), after being acquainted with the enterprises in the small-sized industrial zone. He visited the house of Ismail Kirgizov and Malika Parpiyeva. The conversation with the owners was joined by their neighbors.

- I want to talk more to ordinary people, face to face, to understand what they are striving for, - Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The interlocutors told about the results of the attention being given to the makhalla system by the example of their own lives. They noted that social problems are being solved and living conditions are improving.

- Why are we putting all our forces to the makhalla? Throwing light on one street in the center will not make people happy. Who will listen to our people, women and young people in makhallas?! 141 makhallas of the Namangan region are facing problems – in some places there are no roads, somewhere else there is no water, somewhere there is a high level of unemployment. Understanding these shortcomings and taking them into account, we came with considerable resources. And who will control this, who will think about the people? Makhalla, general public. Now the chairperson of the makhalla should work in a new way and ease people's concerns, - Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
