President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the new 16-storey buildings on the Tarona Street in Ferghana city.

Ferghana is one of the most populous cities in the country. Therefore, such modern multi-storey buildings play an important role in meeting the increasing demand of the population.

Particularly, these two 16-storey buildings with adjacent land area of ​​11 acres, where 160 families live presently and part of which will be provided to socially vulnerable families.

During the construction, special attention was paid to the requirements of seismic resistance and modern urban planning. The high-quality energy-saving materials were used. Playground and parking are available near the houses. A school for 420 students was built and a kindergarten for 380 children is being built.

The President visited the Ilgor makhalla of the Fergana District, where he got acquainted with the technology of low-cost construction of internal roads.

About 39 thousand kilometers of internal roads in our country are sandy. Most of the previously built hard-top roads need repair. Paving all of these roads is expensive.

In this regard, 5 different road surface options from a mixture of local materials, such as sand, gravel, limestone, crushed stone, and cement have been prepared.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev saw these samples. He was briefed by the specialists on their composition, cost and quality.

The President supported these developments and emphasized the need to fine-tune them from an engineering point of view, select the best option based on an accurate calculation of raw materials reserves and required equipment.
