President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the construction of the Center for Islamic Civilization.
At the moment, the construction of the building has been completed. There are 34-meter-high portals on its four sides and an oriental-style dome rises in the center.
The Head of State entered each room and learned about the projects the projects of their decoration and equipment.
The recommendations on the center’s external and internal decoration and ornamentations were given. It was emphasized that modern solutions must be applied in order to accommodate the large number of tourists, delegations, holding international conferences and the expositions should be designed for visitors of different ages.
During his previous visit, the President noted that the Center for Islamic Civilization should become the base for Islamic scientific institutions, have research conditions and strengthen the knowledge.
Accordingly, the project has been refined and facilities for masters and doctoral students of the International Islamic Academy will be created at the Center.
The design and equipment of the center’s interior and exterior, security and communication systems will meet the most advanced requirements.

- We often talk about national identity. However, one thing worries me is whether we worthy of this feeling, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. - What great things did our ancestors do in difficult conditions, by hard work?! After all, our Jadid forefathers were also repressed for a specific purpose. They knew that scholarship, pride, statehood are in our blood. In this center, the voice of all our great scholars will chime.
It was noted that all Almazar district makhallas, where the Center is located, should become exemplary, offer their ideas on education and upbringing.
«If we do this, the light of the Center of Islamic Civilization will come to each makhalla, and we will succeed», - the President said.
