President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has spoken by phone with President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus.

At the start of the conversation, the head of our state sincerely congratulated his counterpart on a convincing triumph in the presidential elections, and wished him new, great successes in ensuring the sustainable development and prosperity of Belarus.

The two leaders discussed topical issues in the bilateral agenda and the traditionally close interaction within the framework of regional organizations.

Dynamics of the Uzbek-Belarusian multidimensional relations, primarily the practical cooperation in the trade and economic sphere observed in recent years, was noted with satisfaction.

The parties agreed to intensify the dialogue, including within the framework of the joint Intergovernmental Commission, in order to timely implement the agreements reached at the highest level, promote promising cooperation projects among the leading enterprises of the two countries and enhance cultural and humanitarian exchange programs.
