Today, the head of our state has been briefed on the draft decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on additional measures to support the population, sectors of the economy and business entities amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The bill was devised on the directive of the head of our state and is a logical continuation of the Decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On priority measures to mitigate the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic and global crisis phenomena on the economy”, signed 19 March 2020.
The document provides for a new round of benefits, preferences and other important measures to alleviate the downbeat impact of the pandemic on the national economy and living standards.
Returning the draft decree to the responsible executives, the President insisted that it include specific measures to bolster social protection of single elderly persons as well as those with disabilities and low-income families, saturate the market with food supplies and medicines, check the growth of prices for them, put off the reduction of working capital of business entities and provide them with additional benefits.
Works on the perfection of the bill are in full swing.
