In Uzbekistan, development of entrepreneurship and training of unemployed citizens are attached paramount significance.
The Ishga Marhamat job center, which opened in September 2019 in Tashkent’s Yashnabad district, has been launched for these very purposes. The venue offers training across 22 specializations, including those in construction business, consumer services, engineering and technical skills. The required machine tools, simulators and other training aids have been installed. The center is able to train 5.6 thousand people a year.
Visitors to the institution can receive advice on employment issues. Unemployed are offered jobs. Citizens in need of social protection can be employed on a quota.
Those wishing to embark on activities requiring professional qualifications can opt for training courses. And those intending to work abroad may also study foreign languages here. The center offers short-term classes in English, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Russian.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the conditions created here, talked with the masters of vocational training and youths.
The head of our state noted that such centers are critical for quickly mastering the professions in demand, and pointed out the need for setting up similar bureaus in every district of Tashkent and other regions, making use of empty buildings of colleges and other premises.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev insisted that specialized universities take care of professional courses arranged in job centers by drawing in highly qualified teachers and organizing evening classes.
