President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Turkey at the invitation of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

At the Esenboğa Airport, the head of our state was met by members of the Turkish government, chiefs of Ankara province and city as well as other officials.

Today, the leaders of our two countries will chair the first meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council of the highest level. The talks are to serve to discuss issues of enhancing the Uzbek-Turkish multifaceted relations, primarily in the political, trade, economic, investment, financial, transport and communication, educational, cultural and humanitarian fields.
