On 29 November 2019, the second Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States will be held in Tashkent.
The summit agenda includes topics related to the enhancement of regional cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, transport and communications, cultural-humanitarian and other fields.
The parties are also expected to exchange views on pressing issues in international politics and regional security.
The leaders are anticipated to adopt a final document as a result of the session.
As you may know, the initiative to hold regular consultative meetings of the heads of state of our region was put forward by the President of Uzbekistan at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in September 2017. The first summit meeting took place in March last year in the city of Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
