President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has reviewed the work of Surkhon Ipagi limited liability company in the city of Termez.

Here, full production cycle is established that goes from the procurement of raw materials through to the release of finished goods. Coconut, spinning, sewing and weaving workshops operate.

To provide raw materials for the cluster system, several districts of the Surkhandarya region are assigned to the enterprise.

The staff of the enterprise works in two shifts; more than 300 permanent and over 250 seasonal jobs have been created.

Products are sold to countries in Asia and Europe. In 2017, goods worth almost 2 million 140 thousand US dollars were exported, while in 2018 the figure exceeded 2.873 million dollars.

To attract tourists, a factory museum has been organized. Visitors can follow the entire production process from start to finish. There is also a showroom and a department for the manufacture of silk clothes.

The head of state visited the museum and the factory.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also was presented projects on the effective use of the tourism potential of Surkhandarya region.
