President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for Minsk today to pay an official visit to the Republic of Belarus at the invitation of President Alexander Lukashenko.

During the forthcoming highest-level talks the two sides intend to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields as well as exchange views on pressing issues in the regional and international agenda.
