Important documents adopted resulting from SCO summit talks

14.06.2019

The session of Shanghai Cooperation Organization's Council of the Heads of State gave way to a ceremony of signing the documents.

The participants adopted the Bishkek Declaration. They inked 22 documents directed at the advancement of partnership among the participating countries across diverse spheres and the SCO's interaction with other international institutions.

As the President of Uzbekistan proposed, a concept of cooperation in digitilization and information and communication technologies has been approved along with the program of the development of inter-regional cooperation of SCO member states. These documents are designed to open up new tracks for the multilateral cooperation within the SCO.

Presidency in the Organization for 2019-2020 has passed to the Russian Federation.
