Upon arrival in Bishkek, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Zheenbekov.

Right from the start of the conversation, the head of our state congratulated his counterpart on the successful presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and also expressed gratitude for the warm reception.

The Presidents noted with deep satisfaction the steadfast advancement and consolidation of friendship and strategic partnership between our two nations.

The volumes of bilateral trade have been growing dynamically, interaction in progress across diverse sectors of the economy against the backdrop of the expanding cultural and humanitarian exchange.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sooronbai Zheenbekov deliberated on issues in the bilateral and regional agenda.

The two sides agreed to facilitate intensification of joint efforts aimed at enhancing the multidimensional partnership.
