President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek to attend the upcoming session of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The summit meeting will help its participants discuss issues related to the further development and consolidation of multilateral cooperation, including interaction in politics, economy and security. They are anticipated also to exchange views on topical issues of international and regional nature.
The SCO leaders plan to adopt Bishkek Declaration and sign a package of documents designed to enhance partnership within the organization, including the promotion of inter-regional relations, cooperation in the fields of information and communication technologies, environment, tourism, sports and other spheres.
The President of Uzbekistan is expected to hold also a number of bilateral meetings with heads of other delegations.
