President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been familiarized with the efforts undertaken in the Buka district in the framework of the Five Initiatives.
The district was chosen as a pattern for the realization of five important initiatives put forward by the head of state to create a new system of social and spiritual-enlightenment works. Large-scale construction and landscaping endeavors were carried out in Buston, Chavlisoy, Yangikurgon and Rovot mahallas.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Youth Park in Buston mahalla. The recreational area occupying almost 2 hectares offers opportunities for playing volleyball, basketball, ping pong, checkers and chess; amusements are set up, there is a dance floor and an internet cafe. To popularize book reading, a public library was opened in the mahalla, capable of serving about 4 thousand readers. The stadium for 450 spectators was reconstructed and transferred to the junior sports school. More than a hundred students will play football here.
Previously, local residents had to go to the district center to undergo a medical diagnosis. The rural family polyclinic №7 was thus fully repaired and outfitted with essential equipment. The venue, designed to receive 100 patients a day, serves 14 thousand residents of five mahallas. A hospital, a social pharmacy, a system of “Electronic Polyclinic”have been organized here.
The head of our state reviewed the conditions at the polyclinic, visited the sewing workshop of Buston Baraka Chevarlari LLC, which had opened nearby, and talked with seamstresses.
“I would like you, women, to be delighted, to see your eyes shining with happiness. If you are happy, then your families are happy, too, then the outlook expands and the spirituality of your children rises,”the President said.
A beauty salon is open in the mahalla guzar. A kindergarten closed for many years, which, after cardinal renovation, will receive 150 children, has resumed its work. The building of the local cinema, erected back in 1978, was also inactive. Today, it is replaced with a modern center of culture with a 150-seat cinema, clubs for dancing, playing doira, rubab, piano, for visual arts and other hobbies.
“For many years, the Buka district had been paid not enough attention, we were indebted to its inhabitants. These transformations are an example of what officials can do when there is desire,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed.
