During his trip to Tashkent’s Almazar district on 9 February 2018, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had instructed to improve canals and their banks here and deliver amenities for the recreation of locals.
Today, a complex of cultural and enlightenment facilities has been created here. Concreting of 2.5 kilometers of the Damashi Canal was completed, the embankment was erected, and models of famous landmarks of our country and the world were installed. Entrepreneurs have established cafes and restaurants, a co-working center, a fitness club and other facilities.
The President enquired into the activities of the co-working center and the sewing enterprise in it.
The practical outcome of those presidential directives is the emergence of the Abdulla Kadiri and Chulpan Libraries, the Center for Aksakals. The libraries wield rich book stock and are equipped with modern information technologies, and are connected online to the services of the Alisher Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan.
In the Center for Aksakals, everything is there for the meaningful leisure of representatives of the senior generation, as well as for strengthening their health.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev toured the libraries and the Aksakals Center, and talked to the locals and veterans.
The head of our state also was briefed on the public order and security system. The President suggested that this system be introduced in all districts of Tashkent, and the scientific approach and analysis in crime prevention be applied.
